A new post: 18th post

So I've been using Google + a lot lately and neglected my dear blog.  I will attach a few pictures and update with a complete entry later. I took a few pictures from the rooftop and the others from a walk.  Enjoy!

17th post.....update!

So I have been slacking big time posting here. But....I've got a lot of new pictures. Most of these pictures come from my random walks.  I'll upload a few here...perhaps as a sneak peek. I'll post more soon. Enjoy!

15th Post- Pictures taken 4/24/2012

 

So the other day I went to the roof of our condo building to capture some shots. It was a lovely day. The skies were blue. There was a Cubs game as you can see in the pictures of the stadium (well the lights were on at least). I really enjoy the pictures of Montrose Harbor with the sailboats beginning to return. It is a sure sign that summer is on the way. I can’t wait to be able to sit by the Lake and watch the boats sail in and go out. There will be plenty of pictures to come this summer of the boating life. Simplicity is often overlooked. But I hope you enjoy these pictures.

14th Post: Pics from 1/15/2012 and Opal

 

So these pictures were taken on a snowy day from the roof of our building. You can see Montrose Harbor where I frequently take walks. I really enjoy going there in the summer when all of the sailboats and other boats are there. And of course, the kitty with the pretty blue eyes is Opal. She is probably the best cat ever. Hope you enjoy!

 

13th post: Pics from 1/8/2012

 

Okay. So I seem to be on a roll here. I will continue to update the blog as I have time. Anyhow, these pictures were taken January 8, 2012 as I took a walk to Montrose Harbor nearby our house. It was a cold day. But, I was bored and took the opportunity to get some good shots. As you may or may not know, I am a fan of water. Although Lake Michigan surely doesn’t compare to the lovely Florida beaches, it is still a lovely lake. Anyhow, hope you enjoy these frosty Chicago views.

 

 

12th post: Pictures from 1/6/2012

 

So I finally uploaded pictures from my Canon camera that I got for Christmas (thanks Mom and Dad). These pictures were taken one evening when the sun was setting. I will upload quite a lot on this post, but the sky was absolutely beautiful that evening. I think posted an earlier blog with similar pictures, but they were taken on my cell phone camera which does not share the same quality as my Canon.
